More than two dozen nonprofit groups will share grants as part of the Franklin County commissioners’ annual Community Partnerships program. Many of the initiatives support goals in commissioners’ larger plan to combat poverty.
Efforts to help needy families remain in homes, transgender residents overcome addictions and trafficking victims secure employment were among initiatives approved by Franklin County Commissioners for funding Tuesday.
A total of 26 groups will share nearly $6.4 million approved by the commissioners as part of their annual Community Partnerships Grants Program.
