Over two decades, you have watched Star House deliver on its promise: meeting young people exactly where they are as they exit homelessness and walking alongside them as they achieve housing and thrive. Right now, we’re reinforcing that path to prosperity, and we need your partnership.

Despite significant funding cuts facing human services organizations nationwide, Star House didn’t wait for a crisis to deepen. We acted. We monetized assets, launched social enterprise expansion plans, forged cost-sharing partnerships and cut expenses, all without sacrificing the quality of care our youth depend on. 

Our strategy is working, and the organization remains in a positive financial position. Now, we are building a permanent bridge to greater self-sufficiency.

As an entrepreneurial nonprofit experienced in homelessness services and housing, Star House is uniquely positioned to build a housing development social enterprise that advances two critical goals: addressing our community’s housing crisis and generating sustainable revenue for youth services. This line of business is projected to create $1.3 million in revenue over the next five years.

To accelerate this work, we are launching the Star House Opportunity Fund.
