"...The Columbus Foundation administers grants from the Kindness Fund by doing what it does so well: partnering with other nonprofit organizations to identify and speed assistance to those in need of the emergency aid the fund provides. The foundation partners with 28 organizations that are authorized to submit requests for Gifts of Kindness Fund grants, ranging from $500 to about $3,000.
